Al Jaouni is a Professor & Consultant of Hematology and Professor/Consultant of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Senior Researcher at Hematology Department, Faculty of Medicine, King Abdulaziz University Hospital a tertiarycare medical center, King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with more than 30 years experience in Hematology/Ped.Oncology with multidisplenary comprehensive care to improve quality of life of patients since 1990.
November 1989 had a certificate of The Royal College of Physician and Surgeon of
Canada. Specialty Hematology, Toronto University, Canada. February 1990 and March 2006 had a Fellow Certificate of The Royal College of Physician and Surgeon of Canada in the Division of Medicine.
June 1990 had a Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Sick Kid Hospital, Toronto University Canada.Maintenance Certificate 2005.
1990 Initiate the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at King Abdulaziz University Hospital (KAUH), Faculty of Medicine, KAU.
1993 up to present Head Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at KAUH.
1996 initiate the program of Neonatal and Pre-marital screening for hemoglobinopathies start researches to detect the prevalence, molecular, clinical trials and comprehensive care and quality in hereditary blood diseases. Yearly arranged public awareness.
